Marina Management Services, Inc. Promotes Tim Keogh

Dennis P. Kissman, president of Marina Management Services, Inc. [MMS] has announced the promotion of Tim Keogh to Director of Business Services. He will be based at the MMS office in Boca Raton, FL.

Keogh was the Operations Manager at Crown Bay Marina, an MMS-managed 99-slip megayacht marina located in the Virgin Islands. There he was responsible for daily operations of the marina including a 315’ fuel dock, 14 commercial tenants, and all marina staff. He worked directly under Carole Dudley, the Director of Operations, and recently completed the two year training program in August. Dudley says about the training “The program that we put these guys through really prepares them for all aspects of marina management…you cannot get this level of experience in a class room.” MMS uses Crown Bay Marina as their training ground for their marina managers.

Keogh was previously an Assistant Harbormaster working for the Town of Marion, MA where he assisted in implementing a harbor management program for over 1,300 moorings on Buzzards Bay. “I grew up around boats and the marine industry, it was just a natural progression to stay in the industry,” Keogh said.

A Massachusetts native, Keogh graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College in Maryland with a BS in Business Administration where he gained extensive experience in business development, advertising, and promotions. He plans to put those skills to use as he moves off the docks and into the office.
