Marina Management Services Launches Office Construction Project

Dennis P. Kissman, president of Marina Management Services [MMS] has announced the closure of a real estate purchase on South Federal Highway in Boca Raton, FL and his plans for development of a two-story office complex to house MMS’s expanding operation.  

A management company with an international clientele, Marina Management Services was formed in 1988 and currently oversees operations for the owners of Crown Bay Marina in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor in the British Virgin Islands; the Jockey Club Marina in North Miami, Florida; Hurricane Hole on Paradise Island in the Bahamas; and at the Washington, and the D.C.-based Gangplank Marina. The firm is currently located at 11 SE 5th Street in Boca Raton, FL.  

“Paul Slattery of Slattery & Associates has been selected as architect,” explains Kissman, “because his ‘island style’ designs reflect both Marina Management Services’ client base and our personal preference for the South Florida lifestyle.”  

According to Kissman, construction is set to begin this September with completion scheduled for April 2002. The 7,500 square-foot building will feature a courtyard-style lobby, plantation shutters, tropical color scheme and landscaping.
