Crown Bay Marina Releases Winter Season Rates Early

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands – Crown Bay Marina has released the 2009/2010 winter season rates three months early to lure yachts to the Caribbean. Traditionally, these published rates don’t hit the market until the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show; but the early release hopes to have yachts start thinking Caribbean sooner than that. 

“We recognize that a number of yachts and owners are pulling back during this economic downturn,” said Director of Operations Jane Wherren. “We wanted to let them know that there is value and service available in the Caribbean, and the Virgin Islands.”

The goal of the early release is to allow Captains and owners to make budgeting decisions before the start of the winter season.  With an attractive rate sheet, and discounts for signing up early, Crown Bay Marina hopes to attract last season’s returning guests, and more importantly, lure some of the hibernating yachts from South Florida to head for the Caribbean this winter.
